Nationwide GIS Project With Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance signed on Tuesday, 12/07/2016, the project of implementing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the Ministry of Finance with ZAK Solutions, in partnership with a consortium of international companies led by American Company Axela and under the supervision of the project German consultant, The total value of the project is KD 6,893,106 and its total duration is 4 years. The contract was signed by Mr. Khalifa Hamada, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance. The signing ceremony was attended by the relevant authorities, namely, the Department of Expropriation for Public Benefit, the Municipality of Kuwait and the Central Information Technology Agency.
Mr. Khalifa Hamada, said that this project comes within the framework of the development plan aiming to develop a comprehensive system of geographic information systems to identify, manage and control the property of the State of Kuwait and increase the efficiency of the works of the Department of expropriation for public benefit. Including the construction of national cadres specialized in the field of geographic information systems in the ministry.
